Description Olsson offers its clients a full spectrum of water
services, including a complete line of planning, design,
permitting, and construction phase services. As a Project Engineer
on our Water Resources team, you will apply diversified knowledge
of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of
assignments and independently make decisions regarding engineering
complexities. This role generates ideas and creates designs that
provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve
engineering and design needs. Primary Responsibilities: Handle
complex engineering tasks, including project design, cost
estimation, and calculations using advanced expertise Prepare
project documents and ensure work aligns with scope, schedule, and
budget Independently develop new techniques, coordinate with Olsson
teams, and guide others on design tasks Collaborate with project
managers to report progress and identify challenges Assist with
scopes and schedules as well as attend client meetings May
supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff
Provide guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical
issues, and new concepts Maintain project and client information in
the firm's project management system May travel and work in all
types of terrain and weather conditions at project sites in various
stages of construction We have one current opening and will
consider candidates interested in being located out of our Omaha,

problem-solving skills Professional engineering license (PE)
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering 6 years or
more of engineering experience Experience in stormwater and water
resources Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, master
planning, stream restoration, or stormwater design is a plus
Ability to represent Olsson in a professional manner at all times
