Job Description:
As a Data Center Logistics Associate at GXO Logistics, you will
be a key component in maintaining the efficiency and smooth
operation of our cutting-edge data centers. Your role involves
handling and overseeing the inventory, ensuring timely supply of
tech components, and coordinating logistics operations to meet the
unique demands of our IT infrastructure. Working within our
technologically driven environment, you will contribute directly to
GXO's mission of enhancing supply chain efficiency through
innovative logistics solutions, ultimately supporting our goals of
enhancing customer experience and reducing costs. Coordinate the
receipt, storage, and dispatch of IT equipment and components
within the data center. Keep accurate inventory records and ensure
data integrity in the logistics management system. Collaborate with
Data Center Managers to forecast equipment needs and schedule
deliveries accordingly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations
during the handling and storage of equipment. Conduct regular
audits of supplies and inventory to prevent shortages. Implement
improvements in logistics processes to increase efficiency and
reduce costs. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work
in a fast-paced and tech-driven environment. Certified in
Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply
Chain Professional (CSCP) is highly desirable.
