Good Samaritan Health Center, a leader in providing holistic health services to underserved communities, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our dedicated team. As a CMA at our center, you will be integral in ensuring that all our patients receive their medications accurately and safely, according to prescriptive protocols. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of medication administration and patient care, and a dedication to promoting wellness in every aspect of your work. Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records under supervision of the healthcare provider. Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record name and dosage of drug administered on specified forms or records. Observe patients for drug reactions and report any complications to medical staff. Educate patients regarding the nature and proper handling of medications. Maintain security of all medications and document medication inventory. Assist with patient care as needed to ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines. Proficient in medication administration Able to maintain detailed and accurate records Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in medication management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification as required by state regulations
