Ultrasound Tech Location: Sioux City, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,686 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Echo Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of previous experience required. - At least 1 travel contract completed required. License: - Active Iowa license required at the time of submission. Certifications: - Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International required. - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification required. - Registered Vascular Technologist certification required. - AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required. Must-Have: - Work history/resume must include 24 months of current Cardiovascular Vascular Sonographer experience required. - Skills checklist must be specific to the Cardiovascular Vascular Sonographer discipline required. - Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within the last 24 months preferred. - Driver’s License required. Description: The role involves quickly interviewing suitable candidates. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
