Job Description Job Description Controls Engineer Controls Engineer Location: Onsite in La Vista, NE Salary: $90-130k DOE Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various applications in industrial automation. This role requires a strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and robotics, along with the ability to work with both AC and DC circuits. The Controls Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design and develop control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Program and troubleshoot industrial automation equipment including VFDs and robotics. Create and maintain electrical schematics using CAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications. Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases. Document control system designs, modifications, and user manuals. Qualifications 2 years of experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferably with Siemens and Allen Bradley. Strong knowledge of industrial automation concepts and practices. Familiarity with AC and DC circuits design and implementation. Experience with SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols. Proficient in CAD and AutoCAD Electrical for designing control systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
