As a Fire Inspector Technician, you will play a crucial role in our fire and safety services division, conducting thorough inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations. This position demands a dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail and a profound understanding of fire safety protocols. Perform regular fire safety inspections and preventive maintenance of fire safety equipment. Identify hazards, deficiencies, or dangerous conditions in buildings and work environments. Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations after each inspection. Stay updated with the latest fire safety codes and regulations. Conduct fire safety audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Collaborate with local fire departments and other emergency services when required. Offer training and guidance on fire safety practices to building managers and staff. Proficient in using fire inspection tools and software. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Strong problem-solving abilities. State or nationally recognized certification as a Fire Inspector I or II is highly desirable.
