We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN). - -As a House Supervisor at MercyOne, you will coordinate the care provided in the assigned area of responsibility. - Supports operations and services to facilitate maximum quality, cost efficiency and productivity. - Provides leadership to organizational wide patient care areas ensuring the quality of care and optimizing operational effectiveness. - Utilizes skills in assessing, planning, organizing, and evaluating the provision of patient care. Is instrumental in promoting quality of life for patients, personnel and the community served. - -Schedule: -Three 12 hour shifts, Nights 7pm-7am, weekend and holiday rotation - -General Requirements: -

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service/care appropriate to the age of the patients served, in accordance with MercyOne standards.
• Makes decisions based on knowledge, experience, and the ability to forecast using information management and relevant data.
• Promotes practices to maintain an efficient and effective work force through staffing model development recognizing patient acuity, and competence of the staff, gives employees appropriately challenging assignments.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance.
• Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. - Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. - Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. - Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health. - -Education: -
  • Is a Registered Nurse maintaining a current Iowa license. - B.S.N. required.
