We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse!As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will provide nursing care to assigned patients of all age population by utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standards within the Nursing Department. The registered nurse is accountable for assigned patients, demonstrates understand of nursing and its issues and is an advocate for patient/families and nursing. - The Procedural Resource Team nurse is required to maintain proficiency in the Same Day Surgery, Surgery, Short Stay, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Digestive Health units. Performs cardiac/hemodynamic monitoring, scrub and circulating nurse duties during procedures. Prepares and operates special procedural equipment, catheters, and implants. Monitors patient and assists physician/provider following established policies and procedures. Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence Guiding Behaviors and the philosophy and mission of MercyOne in all aspects of job performance.Schedule:

• Full Time 40hrs a week, shifts will vary.General Requirements:
  • Is a registered nurse maintaining current licensure defined by Interstate Compact. - A senior level nursing student of accredited nursing program may apply. -
  • A minimum of three years prior nursing experience in procedural care setting preferred.
  • Previous pressure monitoring/EKC monitoring experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, which positively promotes the image of Mercy -Medical Center.
  • Actively participates and represents Mercy Medical Center in professional and community organizations.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills in order to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. - Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. - Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. - Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.Education:
