Job Description:

GPAC (Growing--People and Companies) is a long-standing placement firm with 30 years experience - currently placing more than 400 permant, pre-vetted alpha candidates monthly.-- We are the eyes and ears of the solar and renewable energy industries and place professionals from the CEO to the maintenance crews.----We are currently seeking licensed electricians in the state of Iowa (or reciprocating states).----Your responsibilities will be planning, training, and supervision of the complete installation of systems including residential and commercial projects.-- Interacting with customers, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing electrical systems.DUTIES:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, line drawings--
• Respond to emergencies and/or service calls, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues and other complex electrical issues
• Ensure all installations are accurate and meet code requirement while strictly adhering to safety standards and procedures
• Conducting quality checks and accepting accountability for technical inspection standards
• Oversee materials and equipment transporation to various job sites
• Professional communication with leadership team, vendors, customers and teammates, acting as a company representative
• Acting a subject expert for products, core competencies, and technical requirements by attending mandatory training sessions for new products, methodologies, and safety
• Contributor for new product development, strategy, processes, and suggestions for streamlining workMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Electrical license in the state of Iowa (or reciprocating states) is mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years solar industry experience is mandatory
  • Training and development, mentoring and coaching experience preferred
  • Valid Iowa drivers license, in good standing is mandatory
  • OSHA 10 Certified is mandatory
  • OSHA 30 Certified is strongly preferred
