Military Police (MP)

Military -Police (MP) protect and serve military personnel and U.S. government property, both home and abroad. Military Police are trained to enforce applicable military law codified under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) as well as applicable local and state laws based on jurisdictional authority. Military Police Officers are also trained in corrections to include the custody, supervision, safeguarding and processing of prisoners of war. Lastly, Military Police assist investigative agencies to secure and protect the integrity of crime scenes.

Core Responsibilities :
Protect lives and property on Army installations by enforcing applicable laws and regulations.
Deter crime through active patrolling.
Respond to various incidents and emergencies.
Provide force protection, anti-terrorism, area security, and police intelligence operations.
Process evidence to ensure proper chain of custody.
Serve communities through outreach and crime prevention programs.
Basic Qualifications:
Age - 17 to 34 years old
Education - Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher
Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
Submit to background and medical screening
Additional Requirements:
Attend Basic and advanced training (Paid)
Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
Submit to background and medical screening
