# The mission of Faith Regional Health Services is to serve Christ by providing all people with exemplary medical services in an environment of love and care. # Job Summary:# Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.# The registered nurse is a professional who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The RN is ultimately responsible for documentation of assessments, interventions, outcomes, discharge plans, and patient/family education. They collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide continuity of care. The registered nurse is responsible for the supervision of the delegation of tasks to appropriate individuals and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization.# The RN is responsible and accountable for providing and directing individualized care on assigned FRSC patients utilizing the nursing process and established standards of care.# This requires assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients through clinical knowledge and skills.# Assembles appropriate supplies, drapes, instruments, equipment, and sutures for the surgery procedure.# Willingness to obtain the knowledge and experience to perform both scrubbing and circulating duties. Demonstrates willingness to cross-train to preoperative and postoperative areas.# Has the understanding and ability to apply principles of surgical asepsis and patient safety.# Is able to facilitate the smooth progression of operative procedures and promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel.# Will treat all customers with actions that contribute to high levels of customer service. # Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License Previous clinical experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within one full month from date of hire#################### Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within#one year from date of hire#preferred############ ### # # #

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License

Previous clinical experience preferred
