Job Description:

The mission of Faith Regional Health Services is to serve Christ by providing all people with exemplary medical services in an environment of love and care. Job Summary:# The Patient Services Advocate position will serve as an ambassador of Faith Regional Health Services (FRHS) to members of the Hispanic Community who present for services as patients within the FRHS healthcare system.# The Patient Services Advocate will be welcoming and attentive to the needs of all patients and work to create an environment of caring and trust while managing expectations and demonstrating compassion and respect.# The Patient Services Advocate will also serve as a member of the health care team by assisting in the delivery of patient centered care through excellent communication and problem solving skills. # Job Requirements: GED or High school diploma preferred. Current, valid driver#s license issued in the state of legal residence required. Ability to read, write and speak in both the English and Spanish languages is required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-related field preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with efficiency. Excellent oral and written communication skills. # Ability to apply knowledge of patient rights, safety rights, safety practices, infection control principles, and risk management issues.# Ability to follow policies and procedures of department and hospital.# Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.# Serve on committees and assist with programs of the hospital to constantly improve the quality of health care and promote good public relations.# EEO Employer, Vet, Disabled
