Ophthalmologist Opportunity to join a group located in a Midwest metro, with ability to become a 50/50 partner after year 2 or Stay an AssociatePosition:-Group is looking for someone with a Vitreoretinal Fellowship - ability to see 90/10, retina to general ophthalmology cases-Currently doing 500+ Laser corrective surgeries a year in office, 5,200 injections, 60-80 clinic visits a day and a one month wait time for new patients-Average 3-4 days a week at clinic, one day of surgery blocked - team of 6 including one MD, visit 2 satellite clinics 1x a week and you would be in that rotation-Call is shared with two other groups, comes down to 6 weeks a year split between you and one other MD-Ability to 50/50 partnership after year 2, currently averaging about $2.6 million a year in receivables after cost/over-head-Practice was built in 2013, is state of the art with the most current diagnostic equipment like a Constellation vision system for you-2-3 exam rooms for you daily, blocked OR for you 1x a week, and expect a new provider to be fully ramped up with clinic volume in 3 weeks-Group has done some Academic Research in the past, and would like to get back into this especially if you have an interest in it-Your future partner is the only other retina specialist in the area, big opportunity for youOffering:-Base of $500,000 with opportunity to make over $600,000 year one taking 30% of collections once exceeded, and expect to make around $800,000 year two after ramped up-Partnership is fair value buy in at 50% ownership retention, then after year 2, should be earning over $1 million by taking 50% of net revenue-4 weeks PTO + time off for meetings/CME-Comprehensive Benefits package with Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k-Group will pay for you to become licensed, if not alreadyLocation:-Explore the contemporary system of modern structures, pockets of historical architecture, skyways and plazas.
