Job Description:
HELP WANTED: Manufacturing Line Lead (Thermal Barrier Line)
Location: DeSCo Architectural, Inc. DeSCo Architectural is looking
for a driven, hands-on Manufacturing Line Lead to take ownership of
our thermal barrier installation line. If you’re mechanically
inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to lead a small team while
running specialized equipment, this role puts you right in the
driver’s seat. What You’ll Do Operate, set up, and maintain a
thermal barrier installation line inserting polyamide struts into
aluminum extrusions Lead and oversee a team of 2–3 team members
Ensure product quality and consistency through strong attention to
detail Troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep the line running
efficiently Follow and support lean manufacturing principles
(training provided) Maintain a safe and organized work environment
What You Bring Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Leadership
mindset with the ability to guide and support a team High attention
to detail (this is precision work—close counts, but perfect pays)
Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts Ability to lift/carry up to 50
lbs Willingness to obtain/hold forklift and overhead crane
certification Valid driver’s license What We Offer Starting pay:
$24.75 – $26.75/hour during training Pay increase upon completion
of training Hands-on experience with specialized manufacturing
equipment Lean manufacturing and leadership training provided
