Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Team Member Reports To: Production Manager Cut and organize lumber, OSB & EPS foam, for each job as requested. Build posts, headers, and special panels. Be able to build structural insulated panels (SIPs) from start to finish. Hours during busy season - M-Friday 6:00AM-4:30PM. During our slower season (typically January - March/April, M-Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM) Wage is dependent on experience/qualifications. Other duties may be assigned including cross-training and/or working in other departments. Move material for all areas of production. Know different dimensions of lumber. Pre-stage all lumber and foam by project number. Set up and run nail guns, staplers, and saws. Read prints and finish panels according to the prints. Notify department lead or supervisor when supplies are low. Inventory of all lumber and know where it is located. Efficient use of material. Visually inspect material to ensure it meets quality standards. Housekeeping at end of shift. Assist in other areas as requested. Job Qualifications: Education and /or Experience: High School diploma or GED; previous construction experience is preferred. Skills: Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16” and read blueprints. Good organizational and communication skills. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. hc202941
