Job Description:

Waste Connections, a leader in integrated waste services, is seeking a dedicated Parts Clerk to ensure efficient operations in our Technical & Maintenance department. As part of our commitment to excellence, the Parts Clerk will manage inventory, handle ordering of spare parts and supplies, and maintain meticulous records for our residential, commercial, and industrial waste management services. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and enhancing the effectiveness of our equipment maintenance strategies. Manage and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies. Order and verify receipt of parts as needed for maintenance and repairs. Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, orders, and usage. Work closely with maintenance personnel to forecast parts and equipment needs. Conduct regular stock inventories and order supplies before depletion. Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of parts. Prepare reports on parts status and costs for management review. Strong organizational and inventory management skills Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management preferred. Familiarity with the waste management industry is a plus.
