purpose is that of a national logistics provider offering many
services including trucking of refrigerated goods, dry goods,
grains, and feed ingredients and the manufacturing and sales of
feed. Duties and Responsibilities: Understanding of basic equipment
and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, changing oil,
lights, brakes and tires, and electrical diagnostics. Minimize
turnaround time to keep equipment productive for operations.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment. And any other duties as
assigned. Qualifications: Willing to train the right individual.
Equipment and/or agriculture background preferred. Strong team
player who possesses excellent initiative, decision making skills
and ability to work well with fellow team members. Working
conditions are consistent with normal mechanical repair situations
including working in inclement weather at times. Daily exposure to
heat, noise, dust, etc. Ability to lift 75 pounds, standing,
walking and bending. Must be able to work rotating schedule,
including some weekend shifts and call-outs. Valid driver’s
license. Prefer applicant posses or, within reasonable time, be
able to secure CDL to perform additional duties associated with
maintenance and movement of equipment fleet and product.
