Job Description Job Description Job Title: Director of Nursing – Long Term Care (Direct Hire) Setting: On-site Skilled Nursing Pay: $38–$63/hr (exempt) | Relocation: Available Education: BSN required Certifications: Active RN license (unencumbered), BLS Experience: 5 years RN; prior LTC & DON experience preferred Summary: Leads and manages LTC nursing operations, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, effective staffing, budgeting, resident assessments, EMR oversight, QA/QI participation, and positive resident/family relations. Key Duties: Oversee staffing, training, budgeting, and compliance Lead survey processes and corrective actions Ensure accurate assessments, care plans, and documentation Monitor EMR use and quality metrics Support resident rights, safety, and family communication Other: Must follow all facility policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
