At Good Samaritan Health Center, we are seeking a dedicated Lead Food Service Assistant for straight weekend shifts. In this role, you will oversee our food service operations within the center, ensuring that meal services are conducted in accordance with our commitment to health and wellness. You will lead a team in preparing, delivering, and executing meal plans that cater to the diverse needs of our patients, focusing on nutritional standards and dietary restrictions, all while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and efficiency. Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Manage inventory and procurement of food supplies Develop and implement menus that comply with dietary restrictions Maintain records of food temperatures and sanitation levels Train new staff and provide ongoing training for all team members Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in dietary software and basic computer operations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Handler certification (required) Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
