Job Description:
The Lead Food Service Assistant at Good Samaritan Health Center
plays a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of nutritious and
well-prepared meals that meet the health needs of our patients,
particularly in underserved communities. By overseeing weekend
operations within our healthcare facility, this individual ensures
the highest standards of food safety, patient satisfaction, and
dietary compliance are met, supporting our mission of holistic
health and wellness. Manage and oversee the kitchen staff
performance during weekends. Ensure all meals are prepared in
accordance with health and safety regulations. Plan menus
considering nutritional needs and dietary restrictions. Conduct
regular inventory checks and manage supplies. Maintain records of
kitchen compliance and staff training. Assist in the training and
development of new staff members. Address any patient concerns
regarding meals or service. Knowledge of dietary needs and health
regulations. Strong leadership and personnel management. Ability to
work efficiently under pressure. Excellent planning and
organizational skills. Proficient in kitchen inventory and software
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Handler certification required.
ServSafe Manager certification preferred.
