Supervisor - Cone (3rd Shift)

This employee will lead production team in accordance with plant policies and procedures to ensure smooth production operation during their assigned shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Lead production team in accordance with plant policies and procedures
  
  
• 
  Ensure that training is done properly and coach production team members as needed
  
  
• 
  Responsible for ensuring efficient shift scheduling: coaching team on line assignments/rotations, employee breaks and overtime assignment
  
  
• 
  Facilitate shift meetings
  
  
• 
  Handle employee attendance issues provided by shift attendance resource person
  
  
• 
  Gather performance data for team evaluation for performance appraisals
  
  
• 
  Act as moderator for team issues
  
  
• 
  Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety
  
  
• 
  Communicate and collaborate with other Shift Supervisors, Quality Department, Human Resources, Safety Department, and Plant Management
  
  
• 
  Ensure a clean and safe work area
  
  
• 
  Responsible for shift personnel adherence to safety policies and programs -
  
  
• 
  Complete shift paperwork -
  
  
• 
  Gather and report end-of-shift paperwork, i.e.: - Production, scrap, team meeting log, line assignments, etc.
  
  
• 
  Assist in production as necessary
  
  
• 
  Other duties as assigned

  QUALIFICATIONS:
  HS diploma or equivalent required, college preferred
  
  
• 
  Reading, writing, mathematical and computer skills required
  
  
• 
  Must understand production process and floor equipment and be able to effectively learn new equipment and processes
  
  
• 
  Needs to possess strong people, resolution, and communication skills and have a demonstrated history of excellent judgement and reliability

  CURRENT OPENINGS
  3rd Shift (10:45PM - 7AM)
  Starting Pay: $29.43/hr
  Our schedule is Monday-Friday with an every other weekend shift, and an occasional 12 hour shift as needed. (Workers earn double pay for weekend work and 1.5x pay for over 40 hours.)
