Occupational Therapist Location: Milbank, SD Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $2,200 to $2,450 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Milbank, SD Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift | 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week Pay Rate: $2,200 – $2,450 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Milbank, SD. The ideal candidate will help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, promoting independence and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and functional skills Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive strategies Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Document patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices as needed Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards Requirements: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in South Dakota (or eligibility) Minimum 2 years of OT experience Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
