Good Samaritan Health Center, a leading provider in holistic healthcare for underserved communities, seeks a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specialized in long-term care. In this role, the successful candidate will provide essential daily care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires local travel to various locations within the community, enabling direct support to those in need in their homes or residential facilities. This dynamic role demands flexibility, a deep commitment to patient care, and an ability to work collaboratively within a team oriented towards enhancing patient wellness and health outcomes. Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility Administer medications under the supervision of registered nurses and record patient responses Monitor patient vital signs, update medical files, and communicate patient needs and progress Travel to patient homes or residential facilities to deliver consistent and personalized care Educate patients and their families on proper home care techniques Assist in the use of medical equipment and ensure its proper functionality Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients Support the health care team with documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks Empathy and a deep understanding of patient care Capability to perform physically demanding tasks Basic knowledge of health care protocols and best practices Ability to operate or learn how to operate medical equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure CPR/BLS Certification
