Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team, focusing on delivering high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities. In this role, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors, providing crucial nursing care that impacts patient health and wellness outcomes. By joining our team, you contribute to our holistic approach to healthcare, addressing patient needs in a supportive and empowering environment. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Observing and recording patients’ conditions and progress, and reporting changes to registered nurses and doctors. Assisting with basic patient care activities, including dressing, bathing, and feeding. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care plans. Educating patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical standards. Proficiency in administering medications and treatments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong observational and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of basic nursing care procedures and protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid LPN license CPR certification Additional certifications in specialized fields such as geriatric, pediatric, or psychiatric nursing are preferred
