Type: Regular Work Shift: Day/Evening/Weekend/Holiday Shift (United
States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is
listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $22.50 -
$31.50 Position Highlights *Open to experienced LPN's* Working
within the endoscopy unit, helping room patients, helping with
procedures and recovering patients post procedure. Day shifts-

Responds and assists the Physician and Registered nurse by
providing assistance to professional staff during the
pre-procedure, procedure or post-procedure period. The LPN
practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced
practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care
provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for
which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care
with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team
members. This position will assist with procedure room set-up,
scope cleaning and scope maintenance, as well as entering and
maintaining inventory control./n What you will do - Prepares the
room for procedure in a timely fashion, including patient and
equipment positioning. /n - Maintains efficiency in handling
equipment at physician's request during procedures. /n - Verifies
specimens with Physician and Registered Nurse. /n - Achieves and
maintains a working knowledge of equipment and tools; cleans and
maintains equipment. /n - Keeps stock and equipment inventories,
including requisitions or forms for maintenance and repair. /n -
Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the
health status of a patient. /n - Participates with other health
care providers in the development and modification of the
patient-centered healthcare plan; communicate and collaborate with
patients and members of healthcare team. /n - Advocates for the
best interest of the patient and provides for the maintenance of
safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. /n
- Assists with health counseling and teaching. /n - Implements,
delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan
of care and assist in evaluating the response to interventions.
Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the
hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual

License/Certification, or Work Experience: - Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of
practice Upon Hire and - SGNA GI Associate's Program - Society of
Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) within 1-1/2 Yrs
