Must-Have: Good attitude Positive mindset Team player Cares for
patients and team members Description: Unit provides care for adult
patients with some pediatrics. Common patient diagnoses include
post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and
cancer. Staffing ratio is 5 patients to 1 nurse. Position involves
floating to designated units as needed. Navy scrubs are required.
Electronic medical records are managed using Epic. Candidates will
be subjected to a pass/fail exam during orientation. All materials
necessary to succeed in the exam will be provided. Successful
candidates must score a minimum of 90% to avoid contract
termination. Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care
departments. Refusal to comply will result in contract termination.
Candidates must serve a diverse patient population. Vaccination
status against COVID-19 is a requirement. Hospital reserves the
right to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment period.
