working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in

Description: Unit PROTOCOL INTERVIEW WITH FACILITY MANAGER/NOT
CLINICALRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time,
part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit,
including CHI and/or Dignity.Driver's license required at submittal
and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50
miles.Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all
departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will
lead to termination of contract* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday
during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are
given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass
or they will be terminated * * Department: CVICU*Certifications
Required: BLS, ACLS of Beds: 18- Ratios: 1:01- Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Open
heart, complex thoracic and vascular patients recover on the unit.
Patients are stabilized and supported by impella, IABP, CRRT, and
ECMO. Common and advanced cardiac surgeries, lytic cases, carotids
and TCARS, Fempop, EVARs/Endo AAAsUnit also supports complex cases
coming from cath lab, structural heart program and EP lab, ER, and
clinic\"- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of
experience with this patient population- Are RNs required to
titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics- Is
there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an
assignment?: Yes- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this
unit? Ratios? Duties?: No CNAs- Hospitalist &/or Intensivist in
house 24/7? In the ICU 24/7?: Yes, both in house 24/7- RT Equipment
(Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do
anything with these besides trouble shoot?: All- Are there
Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own
strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: No techs- RNs need to be
able to read and interpret - Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830,
1830-0630, Manager will make schedule - Weekend Requirements: Every
other- Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on
unit needs - Is there a call or standby requirement?: N/A- Floating
Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding
Maternity/NICU - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue- How many shifts
of unit/department specific orientation?: 2 shiftsRadius Rule: 50
miles AND candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with
any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or
Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
Additional RTO will not be approved, including after
