Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Canistota, South Dakota. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Internal Job Description Prefer geri psych experience or LTC psych; this is a geri LTC psych facility 1. Shift Detail (if variable, please list what primary shifts will be covered), list specific times: Days (6a-6:30P) 2. Are shifts 8s or 12s? 12s 3. Weekend Coverage/Rotation (i.e. every other, every 3rd): Every 3rd 4. Holiday Coverage/Rotation: Every other 5. Length of Assignment : 13 weeks 6. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 7. Is Overtime available for this location? Yes 8. Targeted State Date: 1st or 2nd week of May (this is variable as this position is to cover a maternity leave) Important Info to Review: at Good Samaritan Facilities No on call or call back available a $500 fee will be billed if your clinician backs out or quits with less than a 14-day notice If GSS housing is used, local rates apply Guarantee (Clinical): 36 hours per week for twelve-hour shifts, or 40 hours per week for eight to ten hour shifts. Work week: Sunday through Saturday GSS - Canistota | RN - beds: 55 - Ratio: Med aide with you from 6-10. 1 nurse from 10-6. Most of all the skilled charting, covid charting, etc is done on the day shift. Overnight – appx. 1:45; Day – appx. 1:23 - EMR: PCC - Weekend Requirement: Every other - Holidays: If falls within your block schedule while on contract - Shifts (8s or 12s): 12 hour block scheduling. - Location specific orientation: Will receive training/tour/competencies and have the opportunity to shadow 1-2 shifts. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Elder population which includes dementia. We do run a behavioral program here as well so we have just a handful of schizophrenia, bipolar, paranoia. Most you would not know have schizophrenia as their medication treatment plan works well for them.
