Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position offers a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational
Therapist specializing in school-based settings. Located in Sioux
Falls, SD, the role focuses on supporting PreK through
elementary-aged students, including those on an autism caseload.
The position is part-time, with 15 hours per week spread over 2
days, providing a balanced schedule and the chance to make a
meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to
the unique needs of PreK to elementary students, including those
with autism Collaborate with educators, families, and
multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individual
education plans (IEPs) Assess, monitor, and document student
progress while adapting interventions as needed Foster a
supportive, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere to facilitate
optimal student development Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based
settings Expertise working with children from PreK to elementary
age groups Prior experience managing autism caseloads is highly
preferred Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
