Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro PCU Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,332 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of nursing experience required in a large urban hospital License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, CPI, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required, ability to float within scope, experience with mixed acuity patient care Description: 36 or 48-hour option and 13 or 26 week contract option. Travelers may be required to float frequently to meet staffing needs. RNs must be prepared to care for up to five medical-surgical patients. This is a 48 bed unit specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Patients may include those with strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain and spinal cord tumors. The nurse to patient ratios for medical-surgical and telemetry patients during the night shift can vary. Ratios for stepdown care are typically 1:3-4. Experiences in managing drips are mandatory. Floating to various units may be expected based on facility needs. Weekends require four shifts out of eight possible within a four-week period. Holiday coverage is required for two out of three major holidays. This facility has a strict nicotine-free policy. Scrubs are mandatory and must be a specific color with the facility logo.
