A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in the Aurora, IL area, working within the school setting to support elementary and middle school students. This role involves providing therapeutic services across two sites, dedicating 37.5 hours per week aligned with the school schedule. The position focuses primarily on general education and resource classrooms, with occasional work supporting self-contained special education classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students ranging from elementary to middle school levels. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized goals and progress notes. Provide sensory integration strategies tailored to the needs of school-aged children. Support both general education and special education settings with effective therapy interventions. Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois. Experience in school-based therapy or pediatric occupational therapy. Familiarity with sensory integration techniques and educational environments. Strong communication skills for working with children, families, and school teams. Location and Schedule: Two sites within the Aurora, IL region, with one site visited per day (no travel during the school day). Full-time hours totaling 37.5 per week, following the school calendar.
