Therapist School Setting (Contract) Location: Aurora, IL This
contract opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with
experience in school-based therapy seeking to make a meaningful
impact on student development. You will utilize your specialized
skills to support children in educational settings, helping them
overcome challenges and improve their daily functioning both
academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
within the school environment. Assess and evaluate students motor,
sensory, and cognitive skills to develop personalized intervention
plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
to support student progress and school participation. Document
therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance
with educational and healthcare regulations. Provide
recommendations and modifications to promote accessibility and
participation in school activities. Desired Qualifications and
Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure with experience
in school-based therapy. Proven ability to work effectively with
children and support their educational and developmental goals.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with school staff and
families. Flexibility to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse
student needs. Experience with home health or healthcare OT
