About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Oncology Duration: 13
weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: 1 year of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required;
travel experience preferred; high acuity care experience preferred
License: Active Iowa nursing license required Certifications: ACLS,
BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Profile should include valid
Driver's License, work history/resume, completed skills checklist
(must have been completed within 1 year of submission date),
license verification, copy of required certifications, and one
supervisory reference Description: As a member of the
interdisciplinary team, you will contribute your professional and
clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of
care to patients. You may be asked to float within the same
discipline across local campuses. Every other weekend and holiday
rotation may be scheduled. This position requires ongoing
assessment and management of patient care. Collaboration with team
members is essential to ensure the best outcomes for patients. You
will be responsible for utilizing various clinical technologies and
electronic medical records systems. Effective communication skills
are necessary to engage with patients and families. You will
maintain a safe and effective care environment while adhering to
established protocols and guidelines. Continuing education and
professional development will be supported during your tenure. Your
contributions will play a critical role in enhancing patient care
