Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Senior Nursing Assistant, Certified, to join our
long-term care team. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier
healthcare services in our facility, focusing on patients with
chronic illnesses or disabilities. The chosen candidate will be
instrumental in enhancing our residents’ quality of life and
delivering on our commitment to holistic health and wellness,
particularly for underserved communities. This position requires a
deep commitment to caring for the physical and emotional needs of
the elderly and disabled, continuous patient monitoring, and the
ability to work closely with other healthcare professionals to
ensure comprehensive care delivery. Provide daily basic patient
care under the direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as
feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and
changing linens Monitor and record patients' conditions and report
any changes to the nursing staff Assist in the implementation of
patient treatment plans Work collaboratively with the healthcare
team to facilitate holistic treatment and care Educate and update
patients and their families on health care processes and plans
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in patient
areas Proficiency in patient care and hygiene standards Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively
in a team Experience with electronic health records Ability to
handle emotional and stressful situations tactfully and
