Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a compassionate and
experienced Senior Nursing Assistant, Certified in Long Term Care,
to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide direct
care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and
enhancing their quality of life. Based in our facility that
services underserved communities, you'll play a key role in
delivering on our commitment to holistic health and wellness
outcomes. This position requires a professional who is certified
and skilled, with a passion for elderly care and a deep
understanding of patient needs in a long term care setting. Provide
basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties
such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients,
and changing linens. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood
pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or
nursing staff. Collect samples such as blood, urine, or sputum from
patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples. Prepare
or serve food trays, assist patients with eating, and document food
and fluid intake. Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms
that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds,
or blood in urine. Maintain clean and safe environments for
patients. High level of compassion and empathy Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in documenting
and maintaining patient records Strong understanding of hygiene and
sanitation practices Ability to work effectively in a team Medical

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure CPR and First Aid
