Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated and compassionate Certified Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Long Term Care (LTC) department. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, personalized care to our residents, in alignment with our commitment to holistic health and promoting wellness in underserved communities. This role requires an individual who excels in a nurturing environment and is passionate about making a significant impact on the lives of others through exceptional patient care and support. Provide direct and comprehensive care to long-term residents under the supervision of nursing staff. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, and exercise. Monitor and report changes in patient health status and vital signs. Maintain accurate patient records and document care services provided. Support and promote the residents’ emotional and psychological well-being. Engage with residents’ families and update them on care plans and progress. Adhere to all facility health and safety policies and procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in handling and updating patient records. Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse team environment. Highly organized and capable of efficient time management. Empathy and patience in dealing with vulnerable patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
