Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) team dedicated to serving underserved communities. As an RN in our LTC facility, you will play a critical role in providing holistic healthcare and wellness services to our elderly residents. Our focus is on creating a supportive and comprehensive healthcare environment aimed at enhancing the lives of our residents through individualized care plans. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for residents in a long-term care setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care while focusing on the center's commitment to holistic outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and ensure the quality and effectiveness of nursing care, adjusting strategies as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and report any significant changes in resident conditions. Advocate for residents’ needs and provide emotional support to residents and their families. Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Strong clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of empathy and patience Ability to manage time effectively Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of medication administration and wound care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR Certification Preferably with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
