Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a compassionate and
dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Long-Term Care (LTC)
to join our healthcare team. We are dedicated to providing
exceptional care and support to underserved communities, focusing
on holistic health outcomes. As a member of our team, you will have
the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and caring
environment, primarily working with elderly patients who require
long-term care. This role demands attentive and responsive care
with an emphasis on maintaining the dignity and promoting the
wellness of our residents. Provide direct and individualized
nursing care to elderly patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms
or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate
patient records. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed by physicians in compliance with company policies and
legal regulations. Create and contribute to patient care plans and
health assessments. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Collaborate
with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to
enhance patient care. Educate patients and their families on
treatment plans and health maintenance. Strong ability to organize,
prioritize, and multitask in a potentially stressful environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of
connecting with patients, family members, and healthcare team
members. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and
procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to
follow them at all times. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
