Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and skilled
LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team, dedicated to
providing top-tier medical care with a focus on holistic health in
underserved communities. As an LPN at Good Samaritan, you will be
an integral part of our healthcare team, administering nursing care
under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring
the health, comfort, and recovery of patients. Your expertise will
contribute to our mission of enhancing wellness outcomes by
delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care tailored to the
needs of our community. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or
changes in patients' conditions. Administer nursing care to ill,
injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Consult and coordinate
with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or
evaluate patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient medical
records and document nursing care. Prepare patients for, and assist
with, examinations or treatments. Provide basic patient care or
treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures,
dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving injections, and
performing catheterizations. Operate or monitor medical equipment
as necessary. Educate patients and their families on health
maintenance and disease prevention. Strong clinical skills in a
healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate standard medical equipment Critical-thinking and
problem-solving skills Empathy and dedication to patient care

401k Active LPN license in the state of practice CPR certification
IV certification preferred
