Job Description Job Description We are hiring a Medical Assistant in Aurora, IL! Details: Schedule/Shift: Mostly 8am-5pm (rotating Saturday schedule - typically once a quarter) Dress code: Scrubs, any solid color Shoes - any color, whatever is comfortable and safe (closed toed) Location - Aurora IL 60504 Pay - 21.43 to 24.57 an hour based on experience, opportunity for growth! *Certification is NOT required* Day to day: Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history Returning calls and answering messages Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits Provide excellent customer service exemplifying company values Metrics: Average time to room a patient, gather vitals, update info, documentation accuracy, compliance with infection control, vaccine accuracy, Quality Care Gaps, and patient flow.
