As a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant at Orthopedic Institute, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists and athletic trainers to create customized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through therapeutic exercises and modalities. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. A dual certification as an Athletic Trainer if preferred. Responsibilities of the Physical Therapy Assistant include assisting with patient evaluations, implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, documenting patient progress, and providing education to patients and their families on home exercise programs.
