for a Full-Time or Part-Time provider in the Sioux Falls area to
join our team. Theratime is one of the leading private practice
groups in Sioux Falls, supporting the area for the past 20 years.
We provide services directly to clients in a variety of
environments: our clinic, clients’ homes, schools/daycares, and
also partner with medical clinics and other healthcare agencies.
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the development,
coordination, and implementation of individual therapy programs for
children with special needs; helping children grow to their full
potential under the companies’ core values of Excellence, Service
and Dignity, in accordance with the state and federal regulatory
licensing/certification and accreditation requirements. Position is

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of
patients’ abilities and develop customized treatment plans.
Develop, coordinate, and implement individual and group therapy
programs using evidence-based techniques and modalities.
Communicate, consult, and collaborate with parents/guardians,
support team members, educators, external agencies, and other
professionals during therapy programs; this may include
communicating professional recommendations, use of adaptive
equipment, therapy techniques, home based exercises and providing
regular updates on progress toward goals. Consult with
interdisciplinary teams including physicians, primary nurses, and
other healthcare professionals to meet the medical needs of
individual clients. Prepare and maintain detailed and organized
therapy records and agency documentation, follow agency infection
control policies and procedures; and monitor condition and
maintenance of patient adaptive equipment, recommending appropriate
adjustments and improvements. Prepare and conduct professional
in-services, programs, and marketing visits. Other related job
duties may include: driving company vehicles to assigned locations
within the Sioux Falls area, maintaining orderliness of assigned
therapy areas, identifying needs for equipment and supplies,
identifying repair and calibration of equipment, and completing
equipment and supply requisitions. Note: This is not an exhaustive

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Master’s degree in their respective field
from an accredited school (Clinical Fellows may be considered)
Valid South Dakota driver’s license and clean driving record
required. Certification from the respective SD board and experience
with the pediatric population preferred. Employees may be asked to
complete Personal Crisis Management training. OTHER KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Technical competence to use computers and
electronic health record software utilized by the organization.
Effective written and verbal communication Knowledge of electronic
medical documentation. PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS This position
has been evaluated as a Level I in accordance with the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) definition of
Occupational Exposure to Blood Borne Pathogens. Positions in this
category may be required to perform tasks which may involve
exposure to blood, potentially infectious body fluids, or hazardous
waste. A full range of body motion is also required; including the
ability to stoop, kneel, reach, stand and walk for extensive
periods of time; push, pull and grasp items, finger dexterity,
eye/hand coordination, and the ability to assist in lifting
patients weighing up to 35 pounds, using proper body mechanics.
