Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS
Certification Must-Have: Must note if clinician has ever worked for
the organization. If clinician previously worked with the
organization, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their
submission date. Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is
responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide
individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with
inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan,
implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices
within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilizes appropriate
age and population-specific standards as designated in their
assigned clinical setting. Cares for patients in all phases of
preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and
follow-up as patients move along the continuum of care. Responsible
for planning and coordinating care, patient assessment, patient
education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.
Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as
outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the
state of practice and licensure. Recognizes the Scope and Standards
of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as the foundation of
nursing care delivery and professional conduct. Adheres to legal
regulations and organizational policies when discussing patient
health information. Coordinates and manages care for patients,
including those with complex needs. Delivers written and oral
communications that engage audience participants, respond to their
questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes. Effectively
delegates and supervises based on the state practice act and an
understanding of the concepts of responsibility, authority, and
accountability. Establishes and maintains productive working
relationships within and outside of the assigned area. Offers
effective feedback to patients and families regarding health.
Performs age-related patient assessments and nursing interventions.
Responsible for promoting a safe environment for patients,
families, staff, residents, and visitors. Works collaboratively
with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best
outcomes for patients. May be asked to float to similar Medical
Surgical units. Ratios typically 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-6 at
night. Dress code: Navy blue scrubs. Cancellation Policy: Client
may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks. Charting System: EPIC.
Trauma Level: 1. Care Setting: Acute. Shift Notes: Straight nights,
every other weekend and holiday. Requirements Required for
