Sioux Falls, South Dakota? Sioux Falls is a vibrant,
family-friendly city with just over 225,000 residents within city
limits ( the metro area is roughly 305,000–318,000 residents ),
making it the largest city in South Dakota while still maintaining
an easy, community-centered feel. The city is consistently ranked
among the best places to live in the United States, with a robust
economy, very low unemployment (around 1.7%) , and a strong,
diversified job market. Residents enjoy a cost of living that is
slightly below the national average, competitive housing costs, and
no state income tax , making it an attractive place to build both a
career and long-term financial stability. Quality of life is
outstanding, with more than 80 parks, including the 120-acre Falls
Park, abundant outdoor recreation, average short commute times of
around 16 minutes, and highly regarded schools and healthcare
systems. Sioux Falls offers big-city amenities—dining, arts,
sports, and entertainment—with the convenience, safety, and
friendliness of a mid-sized Midwestern community. Candidate Profile
BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Fellowship training or
substantial experience in EMG/electrodiagnostic medicine strongly
preferred.
