Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,828 to $2,022 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg City/State: Omaha, Nebraska Shift: 12 Hour Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 12.00-3, 91 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The RN (Registered Nurse) on the Med Surg unit will provide patient-centered care with a focus on medical and surgical patients, specializing in post-operative cancer interventions such as prostatectomy and mastectomy. Responsibilities: Provide clinical care including titration of drips such as heparin, lidocaine, and TPN gtt. Engage in accurate documentation and demonstrate good communication with patients and team members. Function under a charge nurse and supervisor within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions through central monitoring systems. Requirements: BLS certification required (AHA). Good communication skills and accurate documentation are essential. Must provide patient-centered care and show timeliness in all duties. RNs are required to titrate drips.
