Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room night shift position, requiring active IA or compact licensure and advanced certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting - Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts - Weekend requirement is every third weekend - No on-call responsibility - Floating may be required to other ER units within local campuses - EMR system used is Epic, prior Epic experience preferred - Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care - Orientation provided, including 16 hours of initial onboarding - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's) - A limit of 1 day off request is permitted between 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2 - Candidates who were employed by the client within the last 12 months may not be eligible /n /n Requirements/n - Active Iowa or compact RN license required - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, all must be active at time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience required - Driver’s License required - Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-667158.
