Location: Avera Medical Group Orthopedics-Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $25.50 - $38.25 Position Highlights This position will be four 9 hour shifts each week, Mon through Friday. Shifts typically start at 7:00 or 7:30a and go until 5:00p but can vary as the needs of the clinic change *May be eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on bonus You Belong at Avera Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Performs radiologic examinations to allow accurate interpretation for diagnosis. Completes all appropriate paperwork. What you will do - Performs various radiology procedures that produce examinations of premium diagnostic quality according to policy and procedure on a daily basis. - Performs all aspects of patient care during the performance of radiology procedures. - Maintains inventory and stock supplies as necessary. - Performs all routine maintenance and cleaning according to procedure. Performs equipment repair when necessary. - Assumes responsibility for any department to physician communication as needed. - Performs all quality control and quality assurance procedures for radiology and as outlined by the state of operation, FDA, and JCAHO. - Pushes and/or requests CD of images to be sent to outside facilities for comparison. Assures that reports are sent to outside providers who request images done by the facility. - Assists with processing of reports and images and other necessary office maintenance duties.
