Sanford Health, a prominent health system with a national reach, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our medical team. This role focuses on performing specialized diagnostic ultrasound imaging examinations to evaluate the cardiac anatomy and functionalities of our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a profound compassion for children and a meticulous eye for detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatments. Performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound equipment while focusing specifically on pediatric cardiac health. Interpreting data and providing a preliminary summary of findings to the healthcare team. Maintaining patient records and adjusting and maintaining equipment. Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe and clean environment for all patients. Participating in interdepartmental activities when necessary for better patient care. Proficient in ultrasound equipment and relevant medical software. Strong interpretive skills to accurately assess sonographic images. Excellent patient management skills particularly with pediatric care. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) specifically in pediatric sonography. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
