Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech Location: Sioux Falls, SD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,822 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Sleep Study Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: RPSGT Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Sleep Tech trained with a minimum of 1 year of experience Description: The lab is open Sunday through Thursday. Three night shifts will be scheduled within these days. Employee will not work alone. Call is not required. Shifts will not always be consecutive and may include split shifts. Perform diagnostic sleep testing including all PAP therapy titration. Responsibilities include checking in patients, setting up rooms, patient hookup, charting, and cleaning equipment. Use of computerized charting. Equipment utilized includes Natus XLTech Sleep Works and ResMed S9 Devices. All patients are managed with a 2:1 tech ratio, unless younger than 3 years old, then it will be a 1:1 ratio. Limited scoring will occur during data collection. Modification of EMR training will be provided. Additional training will occur with another sleep tech. No floating to other units or departments is required. This position is within an outpatient department. The facility has secured entrances. No cafeteria services are available at the location.
