Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,052 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 or 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of prior experience required in a large, urban hospital License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIH and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Clinical experience with vascular and cardiac patients - Experience with EPIC charting - Ability to float to meet facility staffing needs Description: The role involves caring for patients in a fast-paced specialty medical/surgical unit. RNs will provide care for cardiovascular patients, including stable heart and lung transplant recipients and patients with Ventricular Assist Devices. The patient-to-nurse ratio is generally 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with a possibility of 1:7 at night in rare circumstances. There are weekend shift requirements, with a total of 4 weekend shifts over an 8-week period. The nursing staff is supported by care teams, including care techs and transport teams, among others. The facility has a strict policy of being a nicotine-free environment. Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 major holidays. Travelers are expected to float within their scope of practice to meet overall staffing needs, which may include various units. Candidates with prior charge experience will be preferred.
